Kid Cudi and Kanye West might not be getting along so well recently, but they probably still have a wealth of material locked in their vaults. Case and point: the most recently drop of theirs together. The song is an alternate version of Cudi's 'Too Bad I Have to Destroy You Now' from his album Satellite Flight: The Journey to Mother Moon, and features a verse from Kanye that appears to be incomplete. Several times during the verse, he transitions from rapping to a hum or word slur, indicating that this is still a rough cut of the song.

Still, the lyrics that are there show a lot of promise for the incomplete song. 'I be laughing at you niggas/Taunting you niggas,' he raps. 'Surrounded by fake niggas/And fake bitches tryna get in my ear/What about gold diggers?/Yeah I got 'em.'

Sadly, it seems relations between Cudi and Kanye have soured a bit in recent months. Cudi's now-famous Twitter rant called out both Ye and Drake, alleging that they have '30 people' write their songs. Cudi also claimed he spent too long showing loyalty to people who wouldn't show it back, which many also perceived as a dig at Kanye. Although Ye reacted angrily at first, calling Cudi out during his Saint Pablo Tour, a later tour stop saw him saying that Cudi was 'the most influential artist of the last ten years.' Hopefully, this is an indication that they've moved past the animosity behind the scenes.

    • Cudi’s been a real let down in the past. He’s just continuing to ride the wave of an album released 5 years ago. He hasn’t evolved musically in any significant way.

      • I would disagree. There was a clear shift in Cudi’s musical style from Man on The Moon II to Indicud. I think Kid Cudi’s decision to continue the nomenclature of his other two albums shows his willingness to return to the past and learn from it, not his inability to create new content and simply “ride the wave” of past success. It could also mean that Cudi isn’t quite finished developing the style of Man on the Moon I and II and is using III to finally cement his own unique sound as an artist. Maybe this new album and EP is simply Cudi picking up where he left off.

This is only my opinion and should be valued just as much as yours. there is no need to call names or insult each other’s intelligence

        • Do not need man on moon III in 2015. it’d be like after Beyoncé’s success with BEYONCÉ, she kept doing sequels till we have BEYONCÉ XXIVL

    • Really? WZRD was awesome. Cudi is great because of his variation. He has yet to become complacent with one sound. Each album has been uniquely unique, and I love it.

    • What was so bad about Indicud? That album had one of my all time favorite Cudi tracks, ‘Just What I Am.’ I’ll admit I don’t listen to the album all the way through like I do his others, but it’s not a bad album!

      • ‘Just What I Am’ and ‘King Wizard” are the only two good tracks. Didnt like the general direction he went with Indicud, hope he can make it an experimental album and stick to what hes good at.
